- The United Church in Canandaigua was built in 1871-1872 for the First Presbyterian Church. After the adjacent First Baptist Church was destroyed by fire on December 13, 1942, the two denominations started worshiping together in the First Presbyterian Church. Since 1961, the church's name has been modified to The United Church (Presbyterian-American Baptist) of Canandaigua.
- In 1950 a second-hand organ was placed in the church, built in 1923 by the firm Möller (opus 3107) for the Eastman School of Music. It was a three-manual unit organ with 18 stops.
- The Parsons firm built a new organ for the United Church in Canandaigua in 2015. It was inaugurated on September 27, 2015. The new organ is set up in two organ rooms. The prospects are designed in the architectural style of the church by Bero Architecture. Consultant was Robert Kerner. When the organ was inaugurated, the organ was played by Joy Van RIper, organist of the church, in collaboration with various musicians and vocalists.
