In 1929, the Skinner Organ Company built a new three-manual organ for the United Methodist Church in Mechanicville. It replaced an organ by J.W. Steere & Son from 1894. This organ was sold to the Methodist Church in North Hoosick in 1929. The new organ was opened on January 14, 1930 by William E. Zeuch, vice president of the Skinner Organ Company.
