De Church of the Messiah in Rhinebeck werd gebouwd in 1890. In 1921 schonk Vincent Astor een bedrag voor de bouw van een nieuw pijporgel. Het werd gebouwd door de firma Skinner en was in 1923 voltooid. In juli 1930 is het orgel uitgebreid met Chimes, eveneens geplaatst door de firma Skinner.
