  • In 1984 Michael MacDonald placed a Chamber Organ in Saint Andrew's Cathedral in Glasgow. The organ was built in 1846 by James Bruce. The organ came from the Church of Saint Mary on Belford Road in Fort William. The organ was probably built for a private individual, and was placed in Fort William in 1913 by the Edinburgh firm of Catlin.
  • Michael MacDonald undertook a restoration. He replaced the Flute 4' (TC) with a Fifteenth, taken from the 1869 Mirrlees organ of Saint John's Roman Catholic Church, Portugal Street in Glasgow.
