- The Église Saint-Chrysole in Comines was consecrated in 1912 and rebuilt after destruction during the First World War. The building was consecrated again in 1922. The church has the same name as the parish church of the French town of Comines, which is on the other side of the border with France. In 1925 Oscar Anneessens built a new organ for the church.
- The Delmotte firm restored and rebuilt the organ in 1963. It was inaugurated hereafter on November 11, 1963 with a concert by Stefaan Dombrecht.
- Before the First World War there was an organ by Charles Anneessens from 1892, which had been transferred from the previous church. This organ replaced an instrument by Charles Van Houtte from 1852 with eighteen registers. The organ of Anneessens was destroyed together with the church in the First World War.
