The organ in the Église Saint-Martin in Metz was originally built for the abbey church in Klausen. It was built in 1773 by Romain-Benoît Nollet. In 1804 the organ was transferred to Metz by the company Daublaine-Callinet. The same company overhauled the organ in 1843. After this, the instrument was restored in 1876 by Jean-Frédéric Verschneider, in 1895 by Jean Blési, in 1950 by Edmond Roethinger and in 2004 by Jean-Baptiste Gaupillat.
