The organ of the Ägidien-Kirche in Windehausen was in storage in 1998, except for the organ case. In the 1980s, when a vault collapsed, the organ was so badly damaged that only the empty case has remained on the gallery since then.
In 2020, the church musician Viola Kremzow has dug and cleaned the prospect pipes, which fortunately have been preserved and were numbered during the expansion, from the dust of the decades in the tower room. The prospectus was stabilized and the pipes reinserted. At least visually there is an organ in the church.
