L'orgue comprend le parent le matériel: Organ case de 1896 de Gebrüder Klingler
In 1864 a pipe organ was build for the Saint Mauritiuskirche in Appenzell by Johann Nepomuk Kiene. The instrument was rebuilt by the Gebr. Klingler with pneumatic cone chests in the years 1892-1896. However, only the organ case of Kiene survived until today. The interior was replaced by a new instrument in 1940 by the company Späth Orgelbau. The original cased was split in two parts, and a new middle section was added and one new tower to create a new symmetrical facade. Späth enlarged the organ in 1969 with a number of new ranks. In 1995 a restoration was carried out by Späth.
