- In 1893, the Walcker firm built a new organ for the Präparandenschule in Blieskastel. A smaller organ (opus 363 with six registers) had been delivered earlier in 1879. It is possible that the organ was expanded from six to nine stops in 1893.
- Today the school is called Von der Leyen-Gymnasium.
