Bâti par: Mitchell & Forté (1863)
The church in Saint-François-Xavier-de-Brompton was built from 1906 to 1908 to a design by Louis-Napoléon Audet and J.-Wilfred Grégoire. An organ constructed by Louis Mitchell and Charles Forté could be acquired, which had been built in the years 1861-1863 for the Église Saint-Joseph in Québec. The organ was transferred in 1910-1911 and was blessed on February 16, 1911. The organ originally had thirteen stops. New reeds were installed in 1984. The organ was restored in 2010-2012 by the firm Lévesque-Roussin. Replaced the 1984 reeds with new ones, modeled after Mitchell pipes in the Église Saints-Simon-et-Jude in Tignish.
