The organ in Saint James' United Church in Montreal was built in the years 1888-1891 as a three-manual organ by the firm of Edward D. Wadsworth & Bros. The instrument was expanded in 1909 by the Warren Brothers firm with a fourth manual. In 1938 Casavant built a new organ in Wadsworth's case, in which they also reused a lot of pipework. The instrument was restored in 2012 by the company Orgues Létourneau.
