- The Sankt Nikolauskirche in Innsbruck was built in the Sankt Nikolaus district on the left bank of the Inn. The church was designed by Friedrich von Schmidt, architect in Vienna. The church was dedicated on October 24, 1886. The church was designed and decorated in the Gothic Revival style and has been preserved almost entirely in its original state. The organ was built in 1885-1886 by Franz Weber. The front was also designed by Friedrich von Schmidt. The organ case was manufactured by Johann Hüter & Söhne. During construction, Weber partly used material from the organ from the previous church building. The organ had 23 stops on two manuals and pedal.
- In 1979, Johann Pirchner was commissioned to build a new organ in the old case. This organ was inaugurated in 1986, during the celebration of the centenary of the church building. The new organ has 29 registers.
