In 2008 it was decided to replace the 1964 Schmid organ in the Dreifaltigkeitskirche in Kaufbeuren with a new one. The company Seifert was commissioned for the construction. On August 6, 2012, the construction of this instrument in the church started. The organ was dedicated on February 24, 2013, with a concert by Traugott Mayr.
