In 1982-1983 Hellmuth Wolff built a new organ for Saint John's Lutheran Church in Montréal. During construction, part of the wooden pipework was taken over from the previous organ, which had been installed in 1913 by the Karn-Warren company. The new organ was inaugurated on March 20, 1983 with a concert by Douglas Bodle.
