In 1852, Ludwig Mooser built a new organ for the church of Großarl. The instrument was relocated to the church of Werfenweng in 1892 by Albert Mauracher. He constructed a new organ case, enlarged the organ with a Salicional 8' and renewed the bellows. Orgelbau Kraus started a restoration in 1994, but the works were not completed.
