In 1860, Heinrich Schäfer built an organ for the Stadtkirche Sankt Blasius in Vaihingen. It was rebuilt and expanded in 1945-1946 by the Weigle company. Consultant was Herbert Liedecke. Walter Supper designed a new prospect. The organ was overhauled by Walcker in 1962 and renovated by the Plum company in 1972. The console was replaced and the wind supply was renewed. Plum also installed some new stops. The Mühleisen company carried out an overhaul in 1998. The voicinghas been revised, and the disposition has been changed. A Zimbelstern was installed in 2004. A major restoration was carried out by Mühleisen in 2018. A new console has been installed, and changes have been made to the specification. Consultant was Rainer Bohm.
