Ausführliche Beschreibung der vorgewählten Orgel
Dresden, Deutschland (Sachsen) - Matthäuskirche (Friedrichstadt)
Gemeinde: Dresden
Adresse: Friedrichsstraße 43, 01067, Dresden

Beschreibung nr.: 2037959.

Gebaut von: Georg Wünning (2011)

  • In 2011, the Wünning company built a new organ for the Matthäuskirche in Dresden-Friedrichstadt. The instrument has nine stops, two of which can be used as transmissions on the pedal. Seven registers are on so-called Wechselschleifen, so that they can be selected on either manual I or manual II.
  • The Matthäuskirche was dedicated on June 11, 1730. The old organ of the Schlosskapelle was placed in the church in 1737. In 1861 this organ was replaced by a new organ by Friedrich Jahn & Sohn. The building burned down in 1945 during the bombing of Dresden. After the war, the ruin was only rebuilt in the years 1974-1978. The interior is now more sober than the original.
