- In 1904, the Sauer company built an organ for the auditorium of the Viktoria-Luisen-Schule in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. This school was built in 1903-1904 to a design by Otto Herrnring on behalf of Kaiser Wilhelm II. The school building was closed in 1939 and taken into use by the Conservatory. After the Second World War, the building was taken into use by the Bismarck Gymnasium and the Goethe Schule. The Bismarck Gymnasium building from 1895 was destroyed during the war. The building of the Goethe Schule, a Reformrealgymnasium, was built in 1905-1907, and was also designed by Otto Herrnring. This building is still in use by the Katharina-Heinroth-Grundschule. The name Goethe Gymnasium was given to the school in 1954.
- The organ has always remained in the auditorium. The original organ case has been replaced by a simpler case. The action has been modified, and the disposition has also been adapted to the taste of the time. A reconstruction of the organ to the situation in 1904 was started in 2021. The organ case will also be reconstructed. The go-ahead was given during a concert on August 16, 2021.
