- After the Second World War, the Reformations-Gedächtniskirche in Nürnberg-Maxfeld was rebuilt. The Steinmeyer company delivered a new organ in 1948-1949. Like the pre-war Steinmeyer organ, this instrument is also set up in two parts: the first manual and pedal are in the west tower, the second and third manuals are in the north tower. The movable console is placed on the gallery between the two organ fronts.
- The organ has been overhauled by Hugo Mayer in 1988.
