After the construction of a new castle chapel in 1730, Johan Niclas Cahman placed a small positive with six stops. The organ was modified by Lindgren in 1852. An inpendent pedal with two stops was added and the Kvinta 1 1/3' was replaced by a Fugara 8'. Hans Schuster overhauled the organ in 1942. In 1974 the Magnusson company carried out a restoration, in which an attempt was made to restore the situation of 1730. A final restoration was done in 1995 by Mats Arvidsson.
