- The Apostelkirche in Ludwigshafen was built in the years 1892-1894 and was designed in neo-Gothic style by Johannes Otzen. A first organ was installed by the Sauer firm. It was a two manual organ with 24 stops. The instrument was expanded to 30 stops by Steinmeyer in 1925. The organ was damaged in World War II and was therefore demolished.
- In the years 1951-1952 the Steinmeyer company built a new organ for the church. The construction consultant was Adolf Graf. In 1964 the disposition was slightly adapted. On the Rückpositiv, a Quintade 8' was placed on an empty slide, transferred from the Schwellwerk, while a new Salizional 8' was placed on the Schwellwerk. On the pedal, the Rohrpfeife 1' was shifted to a Rohrpfeife 2'. The console was placed on a movable platform.
- The organ was restored in 1996. The disposition was now expanded with several new stops. The Sifflöte of the Schwellwerk was moved to the Rückpositiv, instead of the Quintade, and a Trompete 8' was placed on this spot on the Schwellwerk. Furthermore, the Krummhorn 8' (Schwellwerk) and the Trechterregal 8' (Rückpositiv) were exchanged.
