In May 2009 a choir organ was put into use in the Sankt Bartholomäuskirche in Gackenbach. It is an English organ from 1904, built by Nelson for Saint Andrew United Reformed Church, Whitfield Street in Crook near Durham in England. It originally had thirteen stop, two manuals and pedal. It was restored and expanded by Elmar Krawinkel, using historic English pipe work. The Nelson organ is arranged in such a way that the main organ of the church can also be played from this console.
