- Anton Behmann built a new main organ in 1907 for the Stiftskirche in Gries near Bozen, in South Tyrol. It was placed in the old organ cases that were present in the church. The instrument was converted in 1971 and moved to the side of the choir, where it was placed in a niche. This work was carried out by the Mathis company, which also built a new main organ in the old cases.
- In 2000/2001 the Kuhn company carried out a restoration. The organ was placed on a new organ gallery in the choir. Furthermore, it has been completely reconstructed to the original disposition, with the exception of two stops (Kontrabass 16' and Salizional 8'), for which there was no longer enough space. The organ was put back into use on March 20, 2001.
