- In 1866 Edmund Schulze built a three-manual organ for the Tonhalle in Düsseldorf. In 1899 the instrument was converted and expanded by the Sauer company. The organ also received pneumatic action. In 1925 it was again expanded by Sauer to 77 stops. The action was now electrified.
- The instrument was lost in the Second World War.
