Gebaut von: Weimbs Orgelbau (1967) - Opus 72
In 1967, the Weimbs company built a new organ for the Sankt Germanuskirche in Aachen-Haaren. It is a three-manual organ with 33 stops. In August 2014, Friedrich Tzschöckel carried out a restoration. The disposition has been modified. At the Brustwerk, the Spitzquinte 1 1/3' and the Terz 4/5' were moved up to Nasard 2 2/3' and Terz 1 3/5'. The lowest octave of the Nasard has been supplemented with new pipes, the Terz starts at c°. At the Schwellwerk, Tzschöckel replaced the Oberton 3 fach with a Schwebung 8'.
