- In 2010, a new organ was dedicated in Llandaff Cathedral. It was built in 2008-2010 by the company Nicholson Organs. The previous organ of the church was damaged due to a lightning strike in 2007. The organ could be used for the first time at Easter 2010. Thomas Trotter played the inauguration concert in May 2010.
- In 2013 the organ was completed by Nicholson by installing the Solo Organ and the prepared parts of the Pedal Organ. On November 8, 2013, the organ was inaugurated with a concert by Robert Quinney.
