The Protestant Church in Miesau was built in 1738. The Gebrüder Stumm built an organ with a manual and pedal in 1882 for this church. In 1950-1951 the instrument was converted by the company Oberlinger. They rebuilt it with two manuals and pedal with electric action and a freestanding console. The old facade was also replaced by a modern front. In 1986 the organ was renovated and voiced again by Oberlinger.
In 2008 the original work was reconstructed by Richard Franz. The pedal has been expanded with a Violinbaß 8'. The original prospect has also been reconstructed. On November 30, 2008, the organ could be inaugurated.
