- The Protestant church in Gries near Miesau was inaugurated on January 26, 1964. The building was built in the years 1961-1963 and was designed by Hansgeorg Fiebiger, architect at Kaiserslautern. Initially, a harmonium was used. In 1976 they bought a large electronic organ, a so-called Dr. Böhm organ, with four manuals and 76 registers. It was taken into use on October 24, 1976.
- In 1997, fundraising started for the purchase of a second-hand pipe organ. Eventually an organ was taken over from the Sankt Bernhardskirche in Neckerhausen near Nürtingen. It was built by the Weigle company in 1955. It was an organ with an open arrangement of the pipes without an organ case. Richard Franz rebuilt the organ in Gries. Gero Kaleschke was involved in the work as a consultant. A new closed organ case was manufactured by the Brandstetter company from Miesau with a new facade. Furthermore, the Piffaro 4'+2' has been replaced by a Posaune 8' on the pedal and the composition of the Mixtur - originally 4-5 fach - has been changed. The organ was inaugurated on September 2, 2001 with a concert by Stefan Ulrich.
