In the years 1861-1863 a new parish church was built in Beckingen, dedicated to Saints John and Paul. The building was designed by Carl Friedrich Müller. Johan Schlaad built an organ for this church, with a neo-Gothic organ case. The organ had seventeen registers, mechanical action and slider chests.
The Klais company installed a new organ in 1912-1913. The case and five stops of the old organ were taken over. The new organ had 23 stops. It was built with pneumatic cone chests.
In 1930 the organ was renovated by the company Späth. They replaced the Fugara 8' of the Hauptwerk with a Mixtur 4 fach (2 2/3') and the Violoncello of the pedal with a Posaune 16'. The Haerpfer-Erman company overhauled the instrument in 1959. The voicing of the pipework was completely revised. They replaced the 1930 Mixtur with a new one with higher choirs. The Geigenprincipal and Aeoline of the Schwellwerk were replaced by a Hornprincipal 8' and a Cymbel 3 fach.
Klais Orgelbau restored the organ in 1997-1998. The original disposition was reconstructed by them. Only the Posaune from 1930 remained on the pedal.
