- De huidige Sankt Petrikirche in Wörlitz is een neogotisch kerkgebouw, gebouwd op de plek van een middeleeuwse kerk. Het orgel is in 1895 geleverd door Wilhelm Rühlmann. De kosten voor de bouw van het orgel werden deels gedragen door de hertog van Anhalt. De pneumatiek die werd gebruikt is van het systeem van Ernst Röver.
- De dispositie is in later tijd ingrijpend gewijzigd.
