- At the beginning of 1885, the Steinmeyer firm completed a new organ for the Roman Catholic Sankt Marienkirche in Hof an der Saale. The organ had 23 stops. The old organ from this church was transferred to Trogen in 1888. The new one was dedicated on March 1, 1885.
- In the years 1994-1995, the Klais company carried out a restoration, after which the organ was put back into use on March 1, 1995, 110 years after it was dedicated at first. During the restoration, the organ was expanded with a Cornet.
