The Paul Gerhardt Church in Ulm was inaugurated in 1957. The church was located on the Kuhberg, Mettlachweg 2. A two-manual organ was installed in 1959 by the Link company. In 2007 the church was closed for worship and subsequently demolished. The organ was sold to the Roman Catholic Sankt Augustinuskirche in Stuttgart-Neugereut. This church had an organ by Späth (opus 475), which was converted in 1980 by Peter Paul Köberle. The Lenter company rebuilt the organ, using material from both organs. The instrument was put into use on May 9, 2010. Consultant was Ludger Lohmann.
