The Sankt Bonifatiuskirche in Lörrach was built in the years 1864-1867. A large fire broke out in the church on July 15, 2007, which destroyed most of the interior. After rebuilding the church, a new organ was built by Thomas Jann. The instrument was inaugurated on September 27, 2009 with a concert by Bernhard Marx.
