The organ in Ålesund Kirke was built by the company Jørgensen in 1945. The organ cases, however, date from the construction of the church, around 1910. The large organ was completely restored and expanded in 2008-2009 by the company Rieger. A choir organ has also been placed in the church, which can be played from the main organ. Both organs were put into use on September 13, 2009 with a performance by Jostein Maude.
