The organ in the Église Saint-Vulmar in Eecke has a long history. It started in 1762, when an unknown builder built a new organ with eleven stops, without pedal board. This organ was rebuilt and enlarged to eighteen stops in 1771, with a new organ case by François Spillemacker. August Renard built the actual instrument in those cases in 1844. Four new stops were added to the organ in 1861 by the Neuville brothers. This company rebuilt the organ in 1899. In 1927 Antoine Sequiès carried out maintenance works. In 1970 the organ was renovated by Marcel Loridan.
