In 1985, the Metzler company built a completely new organ for the parish church of Alvaneu. It replaced an instrument by August Merklin from 1905, opus 181 by this builder. The three statues that crown the organ case are the only remains of the organ that was built for the church in 1749-1750 by Georg Joseph Lang.
