In 1870 werd het Bow Railway Station omgebouwd en voorzien van een concertzaal met de naam Bow & Bromley Institute. De firma Brindley & Foster plaatste in 1873 een tweeklaviers orgel met 27 stemmen in deze zaal. Het instituut is in 1887 omgebouwd tot het East London Technical College en werd in 1911 in gebruik genomen als ruimte voor de Salvation Army. De bestemming van het gebouw wijzigde daarna nog enkele malen, totdat het in 1956 door een brand verloren is gegaan. Het is niet bekend wanneer het orgel is verwijderd, of dat het ook in 1956 is verbrand.
