• De kerk van Saint Bartholomew-the-Great bezat van 1731 tot 1865 een orgel van Richard Bridge. Dit orgel werd opgeslagen bij Russell in verband met een restauratie van het kerkgebouw, en ging daarbij verloren. In 1871 plaatste de firma Gray & Davison een klein orgel. In 1885 kocht men het orgel van de kerk van Saint Stephen, Walbrook zonder de orgelkas. Er werd een nieuwe kas gemaakt door Aston Webb en in 1893 kon het orgel in gebruik worden genomen. Het instrument zelf was oorspronkelijk gebouwd door George Pike England in 1765 met drie manualen. In 1825 breidde John Gray het orgel uit met een vrij pedaal en verving hij de Cornet op Great door een tweede Open Diapason.
  
• Het instrument is in 1872 verbouwd en gemoderniseerd door William Hill & Son. Bij de overplaatsing naar Saint Bartholomew werd de dispositie van Choir en Swell gewijzigd. De overplaatsing is door de firma Hill & Son uitgevoerd. De nieuwe orgelkas werd betaald door Henry Withers ter nagedachtenis aan zijn broer, Frederick J. Withers. In 1931 bouwde Henry Speechly een nieuw orgel in de kas van 1893, gebruikmakend van een groot deel van het bestaande pijpwerk. In 1957 is het orgel door Noel Mander gerestaureerd en gewijzigd. Tenslotte voerde Peter Wells in 1982/1983 een restauratie uit. Bij deze werkzaamheden is de dispositie uitgebreid en is de intonatie geheel herzien.
