In 1888 Anneessens built a new organ for the Beguinage Church in Turnhout. In the church, dating from 1665, stood an organ from 1668, the builder of which is unknown. The new organ was inaugurated on August 5, 1888. J.B. Emiel Verrees playedthe inauguration concert. In 1954 the organ was overhauled and expanded under the advice of Flor Peeters.
