The old organ of the Petrus and Paulus Church in Middelburg in East Flanders, built by Charles Anneessens, was severely damaged in 1944 by war. After restoration of the church, Loncke installed a two-manual organ in 1952, built using all kinds of older materials. The slider chest for the Hoofdwerk is striking, while the other chests are cone chests. Furthermore, the action is a mixture of mechanical, pneumatic and electrical.
