The instrument was purchased from the Cistercian Abbey of Bégard, where it was built by Pierre Tuau in the years 1647-1649. In the course of time, the organ was radically modified. Some romantic stops were added to the organ and the original Récit was removed. In 1989 the organ was restored by the Jean Dunand company. The original stop list has been reconstructed. The Récit does not have its own manual.
