The instrument itself was lost in the course of time, but the organ case has been preserved. In 1955 Leopold Nenninger built a new three manual organ in this case. This instrument was dismantled in 2005. Under direction of Gerhard Siegl, the Metzler company subsequently built a new two-manual organ in the historic organ cases. This organ was dedicated on June 4, 2006.
