For the newly built Kollegiumskirche in Schwyz on April 3, 1910, the company Goll built a three-manual organ with pneumatic action and cone loading. It received opus number 400 and was put into use on April 27, 1913 during a festive church service with Ambros Schnyder as organist. Construction consultants were Ambros Schnyder and Josef Staub.
In 1955/1956 the organ was rebuilt by the Goll company, whereby the disposition was converted to a more classic character.
In the years 2010-2012 Christian Scheffler carried out a major restoration. The original situation has been fully restored during these activities. The organ was put back into use on June 24, 2012.
The Mixture reconstructed by Scheffler turned out not to correspond with Goll's original Mixture from 1913. After research by various people, it was determined that it had a different composition, with a 5 1/3' choir from c'. This Mixture was reconstructed by Gunnar Schmid in 2016.
