In 1913, the Walcker company built a large three-manual organ for the Protestant church Sankt-Paul in Strasbourg-Koenigshoffen. The organ has largely been preserved in its original state. In the years after the Second World War it was overhauled by Muhleisen. The Aeoline of the Schwellwerk was cut to a Terz 1 3/5' and the action of the Schwellwerk was electrified. The Schwenkedel company carried out major maintenance in 1972. Alfred Kern restored the instrument in 1987.
