Built by: Gebrüder Peternell (1860)
In 1860, under the advice of Johann Gottlob Töpfer, the Peternell brothers built a new organ for the Evangelische Kirche in Denstedt. The organ was a gift from Freiherr Wassily von Wegener-Linker. It was restored in 1984 by the Sperschneider company. A new restoration by Förster & Nicolaus followed in 1993. A restoration by Christoph Rühle followed in 2010-2011. The organ is called "Liszt Organ" because Franz Liszt was involved in this organ for several years and wrote music for it.
