  • The Christophoruskirche in Berlin-Köpenick was built in 1901-1903. In 1903, Gebr. Dinse delivered a small 'emergency organ' with eight ranks. In 1907 they completed the new main organ for the church, a two-manual organ with 31 stops, pneumatic action and cone chect. This organ was replaced in 1939 by a new organ by Alexander Schuke with three manuals and pedal. During construction, Dinse's cone chests and part of the pipework were reused.
  • Church and organ survived the Second World War without damage, but in 1947 a fire in the church damaged the instrument. The heat of the fire melted the metal pipes of the Hauptwerk, destroying the pipes and the wind chest. Only the prospect pipes of the Rückpositiv and four stops of the pedal were also lost. Karl Schuke made a plan for a rebuilt. But the work had to postponed. A new plan was made by Hans-Joachim Schuke in 1953. This was carried out in 1956. Three reeds were not installed yet.
  • In 1961 the Gedackt 8' of the Rückpositiv was renewed. In 1964 the three reed stops were in installed, manufactured by Giesseke. The eventually completed organ was officially inaugurated on August 12, 1966.
