The organ of the Konzerthaus in Bad Pyrmont was completely restored in 2006-2007 by Gustav Steinmann. On March 4, 2007, a special recommissioning concert was given by Oliver Kluge with works by Von Weber, Rheinberger and Rimsky-Korsakow for organ and orchestra. Cooperation was provided by the Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester, conducted by Volker Schmidt-Gertenbach. The organ was built simultaneously with the Konzerthaus in 1928 by Josef Fabritius. It had been out of use since about 1955. The organ was later painted with a gray paint, making it hardly noticeable in the hall. During the restoration, it was repainted in the original white color with gold decorations.
