- In the Muttergotteskapelle in Echternach there is a cabinet organ from 1845. According to tradition, the organ was built by the Bätz company from Utrecht for the palace in Luxembourg of King-Stadtholder William II. In 1845 the company Bätz & Co. in any case, signed a contract for the construction of a small organ for the palace of the Grand Duke in Luxembourg. Shortly afterwards the organ was transferred to the basilica in Echternach, which was used as a garrison church. In 1944 the organ was damaged by acts of war. It was then transferred to the Muttergotteskapelle.
- According to the website of the Amis de l'Orgue Luxembourg, the instrument was not built by Bätz but by Johann Josef Müller. It is possible that Bätz never constructed the organ at all.
