Die Orgel enthält älteren Material: Organ case aus 1884 von Ernst Poppe & Sohn
The Stadtkirche Sankt Peter in Eisenberg dates back to the Middle Ages. In 1538 they bought a second-hand organ for the church, from the monastery church in Lausnitz. In 1752 a new organ was put into use, built by Heinrich Gottfried Trost. Unfortunately this organ has not been preserved. Due to a thorough renovation of the interior, a new organ was built in 1884 by Gebrüder Poppe. This instrument had two manuals and pedal and 26 stops. The interior of the organ case was replaced in 1976-1977 by a new organ by Rudolf Böhm with sixteen stops. This organ was restored in 2015-2017 by Bernhard Kutter.
