- The organ in the village church of Krölpa was built in 1696 by Johannes Christoph Crapp for the church in Schleusingen. A major rebuilt was carried out in 1801 by Caspar Schippel, who installed the instrument in Krölpa. In 1924, the instrument was renewed and enlarged with a second manual in romantic style by Friedrich Wilhelm Böttcher. After 1950, some modifications were carried out. The instrument had fifteen stops at this time.
- The current situation is the result of a reconstruction by Hoffmann Orgelbau to the situation of 1801. The restoration took place in 1998-1999.
